Overview & Duties
The Financial Data Specialist reviews and analyzes financial data throughout the daily operations of the firm’s business. This role will work heavily with presentation and metrics of law firm analytics and client level data, reporting results, detailing budgeting and forecasting, as well as assisting in the development of pricing reporting and matter set up, on a monthly and ad hoc basis as needed to support the firm.
Responsibilities
- Create pricing solutions and serve the analytics team with various financial analysis
- Liaison with IT, marketing, and billing to coordinate needed system reports
- Create hours and trends reports for management, comparing budget and prior years
- Function as system expert for Rippe and Intapp systems
- Use data mining with various technology for pricing and analysis
- Author SQL queries for all aspects of daily finance reporting
- Function as team coordinator for the finance piece of client RFPs
- Assist with finance training and presentations
- Assign new billing rates for attorneys on specific matters
- Administer electronic billing requirements
- Coordinate client and matter set ups
- Coordinate Practice Group and other finance group meetings
- Complete quarterly and yearly survey and industry trend data analysis
- Support financial modeling, cost management, and process improvements
- Support the monthly financial close and reporting process
- Prepare matter budgets for clients and attorneys
- Complete client monthly expense accruals
- Assist with monthly financial statements and accounting analysis
- Refine existing budget & financial analysis models
- Prepare rate schedules and analysis for yearly planning purposes
- Verify the accuracy of all financial data and reports
- Review, analyze, organize, and assemble summary financial data on a monthly basis
- Develop pricing models, including ROI and risk analysis
- Complete daily and ad hoc attorney financial requests and analysis for the P&A team

- Operates office equipment including personal computer with keyboard
- Database and accounting system experience are a strong plus
- Flexibility and willingness to respond to issues during and outside of core business hours
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 1-2 years of prior experience as a financial analyst or in a law firm preferred
Working hours – US shifts – 6:30pm to 3:30am
Salary Package – Rs. 3,00,000/- to Rs. 4,80,000/- per annum
