NOC Team Lead

Location: North Goa, Goa

Overview

This role will be responsible for managing and coordinating the NOC team. They will be a single point of contact for all NOC escalations, both external and internal. Oversees the work of the team to ensure that system requirements have been properly implemented and procedures carefully followed.

Your responsibilities

  • Drives incident management, monitoring, tracking, and ensuring that SLAs are met.
  • Develops and implements new solutions, strategies, and processes to support the NOC’s standard operating procedures.
  • Sets work schedules for 24x7x365 coverage.
  • Provides input to improve quality of NOC services.
  • Responsible for monitoring all the NOC boards and making sure all tickets are assigned and followed up.
  • Conduct 1 on 1 meetings, reviews, coaching, and corrective actions for team members.
  • Reviewing and auditing Weekly, Monthly and backup checks.
  • Provide critical service outage notification and escalate issues for timely resolution; notify appropriate Company personnel as appropriate.
  • Maintenance of ITGlue and technical documentation (for NOC) of processes and procedures used throughout normal operations.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Effectively communicates with team members and trains them in technical aspects.
  • Follow all quality, safety, and Company guidelines to ensure a safe and productive work environment, and actively live the Company values.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, in related field
  • Experience: 3-4 years of work experience in high pressure, dynamic, 24x7x365 environments. At least 1 year of experience handling a NOC team.
  • People leadership and direction experience. For example: shift scheduling, disciplinary, hiring, etc.
  • Experience with Datacenter Technologies and Monitoring tools, using tools such as ConnectWise Manage, ITGlue, Logic Monitor, Datto, etc. Familiarity with scripting tools such as Python and Bash.
  • Experience using infrastructure automation tools such as ConnectWise Automate.
  • Excellent troubleshooter, utilizing a systematic problem-solving approach with systems, and network theory & protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP) ability to analyze Alerts generated from the monitoring tools, etc.
  • Good network diagnostic skills and basic system admin skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, analytical skills and able to collate and interpret data from various sources. Willing to learn and develop new skills.
  • Work well in a busy team, being quick to learn and able to deal with a wide range of issues.
  • Ability to assess and priorities faults and respond or escalate accordingly. Capable of multitasking, good time management and prioritization of workload.
  • Ability to work independently and accommodate various shifts in a 24x7x365 environment.

Working hours – Rotational shifts (24*7)

Salary – Upto INR 5,00,000 p.a
